Wills India Fashion Week 2012 | Day 2

Day 2 at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2012 was lovely and rather impressive. We loved Kavita Bhartia’s collection and Nachiket Barve’s resort wear. Rohit Bal kept it simple and his collection showcased a range of all white dresses while Gaurav Jai Gupta’s collection was kind of remarkable.

The much awaited Wills India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2012 kicked off yesterday in the country’s capital and marked the 19th season of this fabulous show. Some of the biggest designers are participating in this fashion extravaganza. Here are some updates on Day 1.

The show was opened with an exotic line-up of flared lehengas, slinky saris, cholis and even an embellished sherwani. Gorgeous colours, crystals, feathers and other embellishments added that oomph to the fabulous creations by Falguni and Shane Peacock.

The centre of attraction at Jona was the colour pink. The garments were opulent with fabrics like silk, chiffon, chantilly lace, tulle and velvet along with rich handlooms sparking with silver and gold.
